End-User License Agreement (EULA) for zPDF

IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY: This zPDF End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and zPDF, the creator and owner of the zPDF software product. The zPDF software product includes the computer software, its associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT").

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE​

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE​

This EULA grants you the following rights:

Installation and Use. You may install and use an unlimited number of copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for your personal or internal business needs. Distribution. You are permitted to distribute the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to third parties, provided that such distribution is non-commercial, is not associated with any form of monetary gain, and is done so under the same terms and conditions of this EULA. Under no circumstances are you allowed to sell the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, or distribute it in connection with any form of commercial offering, without explicit prior written consent from zPDF.

2. LIMITATIONS OF LICENSE​

Modification. You are not allowed to modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

3. GENERATED DOCUMENTS CONTROL AND LIABILITY​

This EULA grants you the rights to generated documents. You retain full control and all rights to the documents and any content that you generate or modify using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. zPDF does not claim ownership over these documents or any associated content.

Responsibility for Generated Documents. As the user, you are solely responsible for the content of the documents generated using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. You agree to respect all applicable laws and rights of others with respect to the content of these documents. You must ensure that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use any content that you include in these documents.

Liability for Generated Documents. zPDF is not responsible or liable for the content of the documents generated using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, including any errors, omissions, or violations of applicable laws or rights of others that may be contained within these documents. Furthermore, zPDF is not responsible for any losses, damages, or other liabilities that may arise from your use or distribution of these documents.

Use of Generated Documents. The use and distribution of the documents that you generate using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are governed by the terms of this EULA, other applicable agreements between you and zPDF, and applicable law. zPDF is not responsible for the subsequent use, misuse, or redistribution of these documents by third parties.

By using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you understand and agree that you assume all risks and responsibilities related to the generation, use, and distribution of documents using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

4. SUPPORT SERVICES​

Given the nature of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT as a free product, zPDF may provide you with limited or no support services related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("Support Services"). If provided, these Support Services may include updates and/or supplemental software code. Any supplemental software code provided to you as part of the Support Services, if any, shall be considered part of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA. Please note that zPDF is under no obligation to provide these Support Services and may do so at its own discretion.

5. TERMINATION​

Without prejudice to any other rights, zPDF may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of its component parts.

All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by zPDF. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material.

PRIVACY POLICY​

zPDF is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. Our Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard the information you provide while using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY​

IN NO EVENT SHALL zPDF OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

This EULA is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you are located. If any part of this EULA is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will stay in effect. This EULA does not prejudice the statutory rights of any party dealing as a consumer.
